Our Lodge

Each of our six lodges is completely private.  You're not "dumped" into a big, central lodge with a bunch of people you've never met before.  The lodges are nice and they're completely equipped for living  and cooking if that is desired.  (Of course, you can have Jan serve you breakfast and lunch in the clubhouse if you wish).  Television, telephone, coffee pot, electric skillet, crock-pot, all linens.  They have it . Then, the atmosphere of our camp is great.  How about a nice grilled steak or slow-cooked, freshly harvested pheasant for supper.  Maybe, you'll even want to cook up some of your own famous stew.  Camp is located on one of our own farms, down a dead-end farm road on the English River bottom.  We'll be surprised if you can find a more peaceful place in the world.  Of course, for those guests that wish to eat their meals at a restaurant our camp is just a short distance from Iowa's  famous Amana Colony restaurants.  The English Valley Sandwich and Malt Shop is a great luncheon stop.
